Home after sea ice and brilliant light – today Shropshire sun sucked the scent from magnolia, lavender and cherry blossom. Here, suddenly, it’s spring and I come laggardly to this shout of green. Later, lead tatters hugged the evening horizon while in high clear blue a sliver moon shaped a smile.
